Chris worked for UWA School of Soil Science for eight years managing field trial projects involving barley, wheat and canola. In 2018, he was employed by DPIRD as a field services technician based in Esperance, sowing, managing and harvesting a wide variety of trials in the region. In 2021, he relocated to Wongan Hills as part of the weather station maintenance team.
