Round 2 recipients of the $15,000 Carbon for Farmers Voucher Program announced
Congratulations to the successful applicants for Round 2 of the Carbon for Farmers Voucher Program announced by the Hon. Jackie Jarvis MLC, Minister for Agriculture and Food on 4 December 2023.
More than $587,000 will be provided to assist farmers to assess the feasibility of integrating carbon farming into their business enterprise. The program enables farmers to work with professional service providers and consultants to develop tailored Carbon Farming Plans.
Each recipient will receive a voucher of up to $15,000 (ex GST) with a 20% co-contribution to develop property-specific Carbon Farming Plans for soil and vegetation projects. This will support quality applications to the next round of the Carbon Farming and Land Restoration Program (CF-LRP) and registration of new projects across the South West Land Division.

Finding a service provider
Farmers can choose a provider(s) to develop their Carbon Farming Plan which includes experts in carbon projects, agronomy, environmental plantings and project planning, finance and legal matters.
DPIRD's Service Provider Directory can help identify independent service providers. The Directory is not exhaustive and does not endorse the skills or abilities of those listed. Farmers should do their own due diligence, seek quotes and check their credentials before engaging them.
