About the event

A 2-day event in Perth dedicated to food waste, innovations in sustainable packaging and sustainability beyond an environmental lens.

The event is tailored towards food and beverage manufacturers and is the first of its kind in Western Australia (WA). It will focus on current issues facing the sector including: 

  • Management of food waste.
  • Packaging and the broader circular economy agenda.
  • Advancing WA businesses sustainability credentials.

It will present information on: 

  • Global best practice to guide discussions.
  • Practical solutions for immediate application.

In addition to acting as the conduit for expert intelligence and analysis, the event will provide industry capacity building and networking and will offer an introduction to market innovators and R&D advances.

The Department's Agribusiness, Food and Trade team encourages all WA food and beverage manufacturers and invested industry stakeholders to attend.
