My role in the department

I am a Research Officer in the Livestock Industries directorate, primarily working in the sheep and cattle industries. My core duties include industry analysis, forecasting and modelling of Western Australian livestock industries. This ensures that livestock industry decision making is based on a defensible understanding of the dynamics of the supply chain and decisions are creditable as they are backed by rigorous analysis and supporting data.

I also provide support for the Katanning based Sheep Industry Business Innovation Centre, made possible by the WA Government’s $10 million Royalties for Regions program.
