Chemical requirements

When using any agricultural chemicals please ensure that you always follow instructions on the label and any permit. Recommended herbicides

Small seedlings
  • Diquat + paraquat
  • Bladex®
  • Chlorsulfuron
  • Bromoxynil
  • Glyphosate
  • Diuron
Spring-summer, seedlings to adult plants
  • Glyphosate + Diuron + 2,4-D ester
  • 2,4-D amine
Herbicide: Glyphosate + Diuron + 2,4-D ester

Active ingredient

360g/L glyphosate (Group M)
+ 500g/L or 900g/kg diuron (Group C)
+ 600/680g/L 2,4-D LV ester (Group I)

Amount of product/10L water

7.5mL glyphosate
+ 15mL or 8g diuron
+ 7.5mL 2,4-D ester

Rate of product/ha

0.75L glyphosate
+ 1.5L or 0.8kg diuron
+ 0.75L 2,4-D ester

Wetting agent dilution

Under hot conditions add 1% crop oil

Time of application

Spring to summer, seedlings to adult plants

Remarks

  • Saltbushes will be killed
  • Care should be taken applying 2,4-D ester near tomatoes, grape vines and plant nurseries.
