More information and other control methods

  • Retreatment will be necessary each summer as regrowth appears. Results are not consistently good.
  • Mechanical removal can eradicate it from a water body but every plant must be removed. This is a very long and tedious method. Under ideal conditions rate of weed growth may exceed rate of mechanical removal.
  • Roundup® Biactive, registered in New South Wales
  • Metsulfuron @ 10g/100L water is registered as minor use permit in New South Wales
