Latitude 28 Produce | Expanding the provenance data captured on our Blockchain application to include tracking of livestock from birth. | L28 seeks to demonstrate to producers and industry how blockchain technology can improve premiums and reduce non-Australian beef and lamb being falsely sold as Australian produce in the Chinese market. L28 is building version 2.0 of its blockchain application to expand provenance data by including RFID tagging information to track livestock from birth to consumers’ plates. | $50 000 |

- applicants required an in-market partner, and to provide 25% co-contribution (cash and in-kind)
- only businesses that are exporting goods and services related to food and beverages produced or manufactured in Western Australia were eligible to apply
- applicants were able to be eligible over both rounds of grants.
