Irrigation recommendations for Manjimup, WA

The tables below assume drip irrigation and good irrigation uniformity. Check the output of the emitters across the block to see how uniform the irrigation is. If the uniformity is poor, additional water may be required over the irrigation block to ensure the trees which are watered by emitters with a lower output receive sufficient water. If under tree sprinklers are used add an additional 10 % of water. The tables below assume good weed control. If the irrigation water has elevated salinity levels then additional water (called a leaching fraction) is required to flush any buildup of salt from the root zone.
