Wheat variety response to new leaf rust.JPG

The Department of Agriculture and Food tests demonstrated an increased risk of wheat rust in popular varieties(L to R) Bonnie Rock, Carnamah, Cobra, Corack, Emu Rock, Fortune, Mace, Magenta, Wyalkatchem.  Varieties Carnamah, Cobra, Fortune and Magenta remain resistant to the new pathotype.
