The Surf Beaches Mobile Coverage Grants Program is a State funded grants program to provide improved mobile coverage at beach locations throughout regional Western Australia that currently have no or poor coverage.

The Program will deliver benefits to tourists, regional communities and visitors for recreational activities and enhanced safety of beach users.

Round 2 - now open

On 11 September 2024, the Hon Don Punch MLA, Minister for Regional Development, announced Round 2 of the program with funding of $2 million from the State Agricultural Telecommunications Infrastructure Fund.
