The iOS and Android versions of DPIRD’s Weather Stations app (also known as DAFWA Weather Stations) are no longer supported by the Apple and Google app stores and will be permanently retired on 16 February 2024. After this date, the app will cease to function. We understand this could be disruptive for our users and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

DPIRD recently launched a new version of the DPIRD Weather Stations app for iOS users. For Android users, a new version of the app is currently in production and will launch later in 2024.

The new-look app offers simple access to latest weather and other conditions, as well as the ability for users to save their favourite stations. Graphics have been modernised to improve readability. There is also a survey link for users to provide feedback on preferred features to add in future updates.

DPIRD offers several alternative options for continued access to weather information from its stations.  These include:

Website: DPIRD Weather Stations website

App Store (for iOS only): DPIRD Weather Stations app

ServiceWA:  App for iOS

ServiceWA:  App for Android

For further information on setting up ServiceWA visit their website.
