Recommended herbicides

  • Metsulfuron
  • Glyphosate

Herbicide: Metsulfuron methyl (Group B) (various trade names: see APVMA link)

10mL Synertrol® surfactant

Time of application

  • Apply during summer when wet areas are reduced
  • Re-treat no more than three times a year and leave at least 30 days between treatments

  • Apply to wetlands, swamps fresh (non-potable) water

360g/L as isopropylamine and mono-ammonium salts. Only products registered for aquatic use.

No wetting agent required

Time of application

Apply up to three times a year. Apply as a spot treatment to the weeds by spray or wiper technique.

Remarks

Registered for Sagittaria graminea in specific areas in Victoria and New South Wales under a minor use permit from APVMA
