Data Code Certified by the National Farmers' Federation

Extrata has been Data Code Certified by the National Farmers' Federation (NFF). The NFF is the peak national body representing farmers, and more broadly, agriculture accross Australia.

The Farm Data Code, has been developed and adopted by the NFF's Farm Data Working Group in consultation with industry, and with support from the Australian Government. It brings together farmers, researchers, industry experts and technology providers.

Only provider products, projects and services that comply 100% with the Code receive certification, making it Australia's most trusted mark for digital technology for Australian farms.

The Code aims to promote adoption of digital technology, by ensuring that farmers have comfort in how their data is used, managed, and shared.

Best practice data policy

Additionally, Extrata has received accreditation from the Food Agility Cooperative Research Centre (FA-CRC) for compliance with their Best Practice Data Policy. Stringent requirements are necessary to receive this recognition and Extrata was the first to receive this accreditation.

Learn more about the FA-CRC's data policy and all the requirements in the department’s official accreditation announcement.
